Some of what I saw was no different from what you&#8217;d get in the US, but some of it was damned funny. I&#8217;ve got a longer post cooking about TV ads, but this poster I saw in Sydney&#8217;s Central Station is worthy of its own post.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wheresdrew.com\/blogpics\/tosser.jpg\" ><\/p>\n<p>(Sorry about the blur. I didn&#8217;t realize it came out that poorly until later.)This has to be the best double-meaning I&#8217;ve ever seen on a public service poster. One the one hand, it means &#8220;don&#8217;t litter.&#8221; And on the other&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><b>&#8230;well, I think you can figure it out.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>But I didn&#8217;t the photo just because it was funny. I liked the ad because you&#8217;d never see something like that in the US. I don&#8217;t think anybody&#8217;s bold enough to try and get away with a phrase like that there.
