Now that<\/i><\/b> is how you kick off a season!<\/p>\n
\nI’m not even 20 minutes into the first episode of Season 5 of 24 and they’ve already off two major characters from previous seasons. (And put a third in critical condition.)<\/p>\n
Makes me wonder if we’re headed for a serious “main character bodycount” this time around.<\/b><\/p>\n
Opening sequence deaths are always an attention-getter, but that’s not the only cool thing about the season’s opener.<\/p>\n
Massive premieres are good.<\/b><\/p>\n
Not that they’re all that common. The most you can usually hope for is a two-hour special.<\/p>\n
Not so with 24.<\/b><\/p>\n
They’re running two episodes on the first night, followed by two more the night after. Sure, there’ll be cliffhangers every week after that, but that sure beats a mid-season hiatus. (You hearing me BSG?!?)<\/p>\n
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got to finish watching the first two episodes….<\/p>\n
