In itself, that&#8217;s not a big deal. What makes it big is that he&#8217;s very critical, very openly of black people. Don&#8217;t worry though, it&#8217;s not like he&#8217;s in the Klan or anything.<\/p>\n<p><b>You see, he&#8217;s black too.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>And he seems very, very upset with the state of his people. Actually, he&#8217;s been this way for quite some time.<\/p>\n<p><b>But if the last episode (season 1, episode 9) of The Boondocks is any indication, he&#8217;s mightily pissed.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The premise of that episode is that Martin Luther King, Jr. wasn&#8217;t killed when he got shot. He just went into a coma for 30 years. The episode is a &#8220;what if&#8221; on how MLK might react to the state of the people he worked so hard towards equality for. The result? He&#8217;s not happy.
