I have certain things I expect to see out my window when I open the curtains in the morning.
This was not on that list today:
Okay, it’s not that great of a view. (It’s actually the view from my laundry room, since the view from the bedroom isn’t even this good.) I knew the PVC piping and other construction supplies would be there. It’s the snow that wasn’t supposed to be. The last weather forecast I saw online last night was for “cold & clear” and had no mention of snow.
Oops.
They’re still calling for “partly cloudy with a high of 43” for today. It’s just about 9AM now and I don’t really see that happening. There are still nice, big, chunky flakes coming down. So much for running errands (or going to work) on the motorcycle today. Buses and/or taxis for me. Okay, this is starting to degenerate into the kind of weblog entry I said I wouldn’t write (like anybody cares how I go to work), so I’ll stop it here.And go play in the snow.
