A walk from Ginza to Roppongi

as seen through my camera.

I had a couple hours to kill before I had to meet up with friends for dinner & drinks, so I figured I’d walk to Roppongi (Azabu Juban, actually) instead of taking the subway. The walk would take me through parts of Tokyo I hadn’t been in before, so there’d be new sights to see along the way.

Stop #1 – the Imperial Palace. No camping in the moat please.

Next, the Diet. No, not the Jenny Craig Japan HQ.

I’ve no idea what this place is, but it looked pretty cool so I took a pic.

After being defeated in successive Mortal Kombat tournaments, and unable to get work in the new games, Goro opened a coffee shop in Tokyo.

Tokyo Tower at dusk, as seen from Roppongi.

Thugged-out Ronald may be lovin’ it, but that chick on the poster with him looks bored out of her frickin’ mind.

MTV Japan! I wonder if they’ve changed to an all-crap format to keep up with American MTV?

My but they’re pretty cars!Obvously, I’d reached Roppongi by this point and it was now time to go meet my friends (at Cafe Lolita – no pic of the sign, I forgot to take one), so that concludes the “photo essay” portion of our program.
