Low points in the history of graphic design

Is it really that fucking hard to check your files before the final print gets done?


First and foremost, I am not responsible for this mess. It’s just something I saw, photographed and feel the need to comment on.I ran into stuff like this a lot when I worked for a printing company. Client has wonderful layout they want to do, swears you’ve been sent all the files to make it work right, signs off on everything – and it comes out looking like shit.

Here’s what I’m talking about:

Well, what’s so bad about that? The text is nice and crisp, good trapping on the black outline around that “4” and the colors seem okay.

Oh yeah! That logo looks like ass!

Who signed off on that shit? I’m sure it looked great on the “designer’s” screen, but when you blow a pixel up to 1″ across it’s gonna look like crap!I mean, it’s just…. Oh, fuck it, I can’t go on about this any longer.

This asshole should be fired, and hopefully he was.
