I want to go to camp!

But not for horseback riding or archery.

Bars in Korea often have strange names. i’ve seen ones called “Viagra,” “Asprin” and even a “Harry Potter Hof.” (The “hof” thing is weird. I’ve no idea how it got into the Korean vocabulary, but it’s everywhere. There’s a “chicken hof” on almost every block. Seriously.)By far though, this is my favorite bar name:

Isn’t that awesome?!?

As if there’d be a camp you can go to to learn how to down a beer in one shot? But wouldn’t it be cool if there was?!

“No, Tommy, you’ve got to tip your head back a bit farther than that. Too far! You wanna end up with a nose full of foam? You’re never gonna get it at this rate. Go get a fresh pitcher. No sense trying this stuff with warm beer.”

Counselors you can really relate to. Almost like drinking boot camp. Actually, I’ve never been to this bar. I just love the sign. You see, the franchise (yes, there’s more than one of these “camps”) is owned by the Hite brewing company, and I don’t really care for their beer. It’s okay if you’ve got nothing else to drink, but I’d never go out of my way to get it. Maybe I’ll break down and go one day.

But they’d better have that logo on some cool stuff that’d be worth stealing. ^.^
