(A Design Festa teaser)
My trip was timed well enough that I happened into some pretty cool stuff that I might not have caught otherwise. I saw the music festival, went to the Amusing Collections Flea Market (more on that in another post) and made it to the 19th Design Festa!
It’s hard to explain Design Festa. It’s a bunch of artists and craftspeople coming to show and sell their wares. Some are hoping to hit it big and be the creator of the next Hello Kitty, and others are in it for fun. Still others are in it for reasons I couldn’t possibly fathom, but it’s a fun time. It runs for two days and that’s really not enough time to get a good look at everything. I’ll be doing a bunch of posts on different things I found there, but I’ll tease you all with this image, since – to me – it totally sums up the “Design Festa experience.”
