Being good at being weird is a tough thing to pull off. If you’re not weird enough, people think you’re just a dork. If you’re trying to hard, people think you’re a freak. But if you can balance it all just right, the results can be pretty cool.
This bit is about somebody who hasn’t figured out the balancing act.
When trying to create the “next big character,” you need to come up with something memorable, something catchy, and if you can make it inexplicably cool – you’re set.
This dude, is most definitely not set.Could he be trying any less harder? (Is that even grammatically correct?) Seriously, little felt cones with happy faces on them? Who’s gonna pay $5 for one of these?
Okay, somebody might, but I assure you, this isn’t the next big thing.Next up? Something that deserves to be the next big thing, but won’t be.
