I’ve talked about snack foods in Japan before, but all my previous experiences there left me wholly unprepared for this:
That’s not just any KitKat. It’s a Lemon Cheesecake KitKat. And it is quite possibly the best candy bar-type snack I’ve ever had in my life. I don’t know if they’ll ever be available outside Japan, but it’d be a crime if they weren’t.
They’re just that good.
I think I had one every day while I was in Tokyo. and I brought some back to Korea to share with friends. Everybody who got one agrees – they are the best thing ever. The package says they’re a “Season’s Flavor,” but they should make them year-round. Hell, they should make these instead of the regular chocolate KitKats.

Seriously, they are. If you have the means, buy them, try them and stock up. You’ll be hurting once they’re gone. I’ve got one left and I’m dreading the withdrawl symptoms once I eat it.
