Food for
men.
Now, all men eat, so what
makes food “just for men?” I have no idea. But for some reason the people who
make Pocky decided there needed to be a “Men’s Pocky.” I haven’t tried it, so
I’m not sure how it differs from regular Pocky. Maybe it’s heartier, more
robust, or more satisfying than regular Pocky in an especially manly sort of
way.
Or it could all be a bunch
of bullshit.
Come on. Pocky is
nothing more than a chocolate coating on a long, thin cookie. What’s so manly
about that? Is eating Men’s Pocky more socially acceptable for “real men?” Do
they feel less silly while eating it? I doubt
it.
Then this weekend I found

It’s just a regular
coffee & milk drink, of which there are about 500 varieties in Japan. But
this is the manly one, I guess. If anything, this stuff was sweeter than a lot
of the other kinds – which would make it even more sissified! (Going on the
theory that real men drink only black coffee without any of that sissy cream or
sugar stuff.)
Yeah, I drink these
things too. They’re good. I don’t care for black coffee, but love the caffeine
hit I get from one of these. Who cares if they’re “manly” or
not?
They’re damned tasty!
