I was going to re-do my funky silver hair color today, but the phone call I got last night told me it might not be such a good idea. My boss’ husband rang me up yesterday evening and asked if I was going to be around on the 29th. I don’t have plans to go anywhere during my vacation, so I figured he was trying to arrange a time to get the old washing machine from my apartment.
No, he wants me to come to work that day.
I thought it odd that he’d ask me to come to work while we’re on vacation, seeing how as there won’t be any kids to teach. (There are a few coming in for day care for several days during the break, but my boss is taking care of them.) But it seems we’ve got some sort of TV crew coming in that day.
What they’re going to shoot, I have no idea…
The school will be nice and clean, but it’ll be pretty quiet. I’m not sure if it’s an actual TV thing or just some sort of video they’re making to promote the school. Either way, it should be interesting. And it’s not like I had any plans that day, so why not go in and do it?
