The hell you say?!?
Nothing profound here, just something odd I discovered today.I was rooting in my fridge for a snack and something caught my eye. Tough to do, since I pretty much knew what was already in there when I started looking, but you know how it is. You keep opening the fridge, hoping maybe some new treat will have materialized. Rarely happens, but I guess it’s been known to. That’s when I saw,
“Made in Australia”
Hmmm. I don’t recall having bought any Aussie snacks. Then I noticed what package it was on.
Kraft Philadelphia Cream Cheese
Now, correct my if I’m wrong (maybe there was some time/space displacement in Pennsylvania I’ve not heard of just yet), but isn’t Philly in the US? And you mean to tell me they made cream cheese (which has to be refrigerated) in Australia, and shipped it (refrigerated) all the way to Japan?
No wonder they charge so much for it!
What the hell’s next? Aussie pies made in Madagascar?
