Beer & Crackers?

A marketing idea that will never make it to
America.

I saw this on the back of a box of Ritz
crackers, and it really struck me as
odd:

you see Nabisco
ever
putting this on a box in the US?

either.

This alternate one found on a
different box (yes, I eat a lot of crackers…) seems far more likely to grace
American cracker
boxes:

What
gets me about these two pictures is that the text on the left side is exactly
the same. (Well, to my untrained and J-illiterate eye anyways.)

Can you really take the same
approach when targeting both the beer and milk demographics?

I could probably think up
something really funny to go with that question, but I’m a bit tired right now,
