Well, it is good to have dreams.
Here’s another one for the “Huh?!?” files:
I spotted this on one of my student’s bags yesterday. It’s cute and Engrishy and all, but the text can be taken in such a wrong way that I had to snap a photo.At face value, it all makes sense. Yes, the chick was a(n) egg. Most people will agree that chicks are cute. And yes, it’ll be white someday.
All pretty innocent, right?
Now, let’s run it through an interpretive filter – I’ve been born. I’m cute and Asian. My real dream is to be white.
Okay, that’s just my messed up take on things, but am I really the only person who can read that into it?
I hope not….
