Cashing in on geeks.

Well, trying to.

As I mentioned last week, emulation on the PSP is pretty damned sweet.

Here, let me show you:

This doesn’t look like a Gameboy Color…

And I’m pretty sure it’s not an NES…

I KNOW it’s not a Super NES!

Of course, with stuff like this, there are people who want to get in on it, no matter what the cost.

At least, that’s what I’m hoping.

I went to Akihabara on Saturday to try and find some version 1.0 PSP systems. Most shops selling them are labeling the units as to which version they are. Useful, but most of what I was finding were 1.5 systems – not what I was after. I lucked out though, and found one shop that had a nice stack of 1.0s.

So I bought 3.

The look on the clerk’s face was priceless, but he was more than happy to sell them to me. Two of them went on eBay straight away, and the third I’m probably going to keep for myself. Depends on how much I can get for them, I suppose. But if the profit is good, I could always go back to the shop and get a few more.

Hmmm. I wonder how many they’ve got left…. ^.^
