Where are the white women at?

Oh, here they are. But why are they dressed like
that?

Another of the stops on Jane’s whirlwind
visit to Tokyo was Harajuku, mostly so she could take in the sights of goth kids
and cosplayers. (And have an insanely-goddamned good salad!) Sadly, there
were no cosplayers in
sight.

Too bad, as I find them
more entertaining than the goth kids.

What did get me to take out my
camera were these
chicks:

I’ve
seen lots of goths (loli and otherwise) before, but I hadn’t seen white chicks
getting in on the action. I’m sure they were getting just as much photo-lovin’
as the j-girls.

If not
moreso.

Goths and lolis are hardly
anything new, so maybe expanding the racial makeup of the Harajuku set is what’s
needed to liven things up. Maybe there’s more to the whole loli-goth scene than
anybody outside of it really knew. Maybe it really
is
a whole other way of life!

Or
maybe these chicks were just really bored on a Sunday
afternoon.
