Good things come in small packages.

In praise of Robot Chicken.

If you don’t watch TV (or peruse sites related to downloading TV shows), odds are you probably haven’t heard of Robot Chicken.

Believe me, it’s your loss.

I heard of it, and saw the episodes up for download, a while back, but didn’t grab it since all I had to go on was the name. (And was too lazy to google it to find out what it was.)

That was my loss.

I finally saw an episode when Jane came to visit. Damn, was I missing out.The show is done with stop-motion animation, and uses a combination of toys, action figures and clay for the characters. It may sound dumb, but it’s pure genius. each episode is only about 10 minutes long and consists of a bunch of short clips, arranged with no real purpose or overall meaning. Some of them are only a few seconds long.

It’s serious rapid-fiire stuff, perfect for those with ADD or without a lot of time to commit to a show. Hell, you could watch the entire first season in about three hours.

Try doing that with 24. ^.^

Even if you think it may not be your thing, check it out anyways. (I suggest grabbing episode 2, since the first bit on that one is possibly one of the best in the whole season.)

The most you have to lose is ten minutes.
