Now that is how you kick off a season!
I’m not even 20 minutes into the first episode of Season 5 of 24 and they’ve already off two major characters from previous seasons. (And put a third in critical condition.)
Makes me wonder if we’re headed for a serious “main character bodycount” this time around.
Opening sequence deaths are always an attention-getter, but that’s not the only cool thing about the season’s opener.
Massive premieres are good.
Not that they’re all that common. The most you can usually hope for is a two-hour special.
Not so with 24.
They’re running two episodes on the first night, followed by two more the night after. Sure, there’ll be cliffhangers every week after that, but that sure beats a mid-season hiatus. (You hearing me BSG?!?)
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got to finish watching the first two episodes….
Man, this is gonna be one hell of a ride! ^.^
