Anybody who reads this page knows I really dig 24. Seriously dig it. I would’ve been happy to see the series end at the end of last season (things wrapped up very nicely), but I’m glad (so far) that they’re doing a fifth season – especially with how it started. But there’s one thing I must take issue with.
“Data mining.”
If they never use this bullshit buzzword again, it’ll still be too soon. Anytime somebody needs info about something – anything – it’s all “I need you to data mine this” or “have you tried data mining the server.”
For. Fuck’s. Sake.
Pick a new term already. Hell, make some shit up. That’s how we get new words. But to keep using the same nonsense over and over again?
That how we annoy people.
So, please, knock that stupid shit off already.
