A day that will live in infamy forever.
Okay, maybe not forever, but I’m making a note of it. Why?
It was the day my Xbox 360 locked up for the first time.
I wasn’t doing anything mean towards it, just checking out the demo for Full Auto (Which is hella sweet, by the way. How can you not love a racing game with serious amounts of weaponry that lets you take shortcuts through buildings – by destroying them!) and just as I’d started the second lap of my first race, everything froze.
And froze solid.
The sticks were unresponsive and no buttons would do anything.
Okay, the power button still worked.
(Thankfully.)
A quick reboot and everything was fine. I jumped right back into the demo and it ran without a hitch, so I doubt I’ve got a bum 360. (There was no “ring of evil red lights.”) And if I did, it’s not that big a deal.
It’d be very easy to get it swapped out for a new one here. ^.^
