Yes, it’s a whole new look for the site.
But it’s not the “real” new look.
Not the final one, anyways. I decided to go ahead an jump into the WordPress way of doing things. I started this a while back, and while the archives are still seriously borked, there’s no reason not to do up the new stuff in WP.
The site will most likely be in the “work in progress” stage for a (hopefully not too long) while. I’ll be changing some stuff around from the stock template, and have a few ideas on how I want things to look when it’s all said and done.
The archives will get edited bit by bit, but that’s not a priority. The old comments have been lost (though I suppose I could manually bring them over from Halsocan, but that’d be a real pain), but any new ones will stick around for quite a while. The older posts are searchable now, so if there was some bit of rambling from the past you wanted to dig up, you can.
Other than that, it’ll pretty much be business as usual. I’ll have to get used to doing stuff in WordPress. That may take some time, but I suspect the more practice I get at it, the easier it’ll become.
Guess that means I oughta write more, huh? ^.^
