Three weeks of Saturdays.

That’s right, it’s vacation time.

Another year is drawing to a close, and that can only mean one thing.

Winter vacation!

Yup! Three weeks with damned little to do. I’ve gotten most of my Xmas shopping done (minus a few small items), and can just kick back while wrapping some stuff while waiting for the last few to arrive. There’s a bit of mailing left to happen, but that follows the waiting for stuff to arrive, so it’s not an issue yet.

Yes, I know that it’s the 19th of December, and that anything I mail has a snowball’s chance in hell of getting to its desitination by the 25th.

But who gives a shit?

I’m more of a believer in the idea of Xmas than I am a slave to a calendar. People will be just as happy to open a package with groovy shit in it on any day as they would be (or should be!) on the 25th. So if you get a package from me this holiday season, I hope you’re more of a “thought that counts” person than a “why wasn’t it here on Xmas” person.

There are games to be played!

I picked up Zelda and Rabbids Party for Wii last week, and I’m sure they’ll be great helps in filling the vacation void. Rabbids Party may just be the best game ever. (A dedicated post for it is soon to follow.) The gameplay’s not the best, nor are the graphics – but I can’t stop laughing my ass off.

Even if I were to spend the entire vacation home alone (which I won’t!), it’d still be a hell of a time! ^.^
