Has it been four years already?!?
Yup, it sure has.
September 1, 2004 was the day I arrived in Japan. Since then I’ve only left the country 3 times.
1. Five-day trip to Korea to get my first working visa sorted out. That one was about 2.5 months after I’d arrived here.
2. Two weeks in Australia (awesome trip!), taken after 11 months in Japan.
3. Trip to the US to see my parents (first time I’d seen them in 6 years), take my girlfriend to meet them (yes, it’s that serious) and do tremendous amounts of shopping.
Some other statistics from the past 4 years.
Number of jobs: 2
Length of longest job: 2.5 years
Length of longest relationship: 2 years, 5 months and counting ^.^
Number of apartments: 3
Number of new computers: 5
Number of those still owned: 3
Number of iPods: 3
Number of cellphones: 4
Number of game systems: 8
Amount of free stuff gotten from “point cards”: Well over $1,000
Number of sexual partners: As if I’d post that!
Let’s hope the next 4 years are just as interesting!
